Dr Adrian McElholm studied Medicine at Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB), graduating with Distinction in Medicine and Surgery in 1997. He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2002 and was awarded an MD for his research on Reflux Oesophagitis, Barrett’s Oesophagus and Oesophageal Cancer in 2012.
Northern Gastroenterology aims to provide a holistic service for patients with gastroenterological and hepatology problems. This includes consultations with expert care at clinics, and endoscopy services including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bowel cancer screening and large polyp removal. We also have specialist expertise in the management of heartburn and chronic reflux disease, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), anaemia and abnormal liver function tests.
We are a Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy service with clinics in Vic Park and procedures performed in St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
We provide local clinics for patients with gastroenterology and hepatology symptoms or conditions. Our clinics are at the Western Australia Specialist Centre in Victoria Park and at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
We provide a colonoscopy service for bowel cancer screening for the NBCSP (National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme). This includes ‘straight to scope’ patients who don’t require prior consultations
